Voter ID laws often serve as barriers that disenfranchise eligible voters, particularly among minority, low-income, and elderly populations. I will advocate for the elimination of strict voter ID requirements and support the implementation of secure, accessible alternatives that maintain election integrity without sacrificing inclusivity 

Broaden federal hate crime statutes to include protections for gender identity, disability, and other vulnerable categories. 

 Eliminate workplace discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, military status, and other protected characteristics. 

Addressing racial disparities is not only a matter of justice but also a pathway to a stronger, more united America. 

I am dedicated to creating a legislative framework that not only protects but also empowers LGBTQIA+ individuals in Virginia's 2nd Congressional District and beyond. 

Establish federal grants for state and local governments to retrofit public spaces, sidewalks, and transportation systems for full accessibility.
