1. Legislative Reclamation of Tariff Authority 
   1. Require explicit congressional approval for any tariff imposed under Section 232 or similar statutes. 
   2. Ensure all “national-security” tariffs include evidence-based justifications and sunset reviews. 
2. Bipartisan Trade Oversight Committee 
   1. Create a standing House–Senate panel to vet tariff proposals, track outcomes, and consult diverse stakeholders—including the military community, small-business owners, and labor leaders. 
3. Mandatory Impact Assessments & Public Reporting 
   1. Independent analyses must quantify effects on consumer prices, middle-class households, military supply chains, and regional economies. 
   2. Publish findings on a public dashboard before any tariff takes effect. 
4. Support for Affected Communities

   2. “Mil-friendly” clauses in future trade pacts to secure critical defense supply chains.

Recent aggression and cyberattacks by China, Russia, and North Korea demand a coordinated U-S strategy grounded in accountability. As a military spouse and advocate for middle-class families in Virginia’s 2nd District, I will champion a sanctions framework that protects our people, supports our allies, and defends democratic values.

   1. Tighten export controls on sensitive technologies (e.g., AI chips, advanced semiconductors). 
   2. Incentivize domestic and allied sourcing of critical minerals and components. 
3. Cybersecurity Measures 
   1. Sanction individuals and entities that launch or enable cyberattacks against the U.S. or allies.
