Healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. As a candidate for U.S. Congress in Virginia's 2nd Congressional District, I am committed to ensuring that all Americans, have access to no-cost preventative care. 

Healthcare costs in the United States are riddled with hidden fees and a lack of price transparency, leaving patients unable to make informed decisions about their care. As your representative for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District, I am committed to promoting trust, transparency, and equity in our healthcare system. 

To ensure equitable access to comprehensive maternal healthcare, addressing systemic disparities in outcomes for mothers in middle-class, military, and underserved communities, and providing support to foster healthy families and resilient communities.

As your Representative, I will introduce legislation to end the ability of pharmaceutical companies to patent drugs developed with taxpayer-funded government grants. This policy will ensure that taxpayers—who are the true investors in medical innovation—benefit from fair pricing and unrestricted access to critical medications.

Expanding and strengthening nutrition programs is not just a moral imperative; it is an investment in the well-being and future of our families, our children, and our nation. By addressing food insecurity with integrity and equality, we can ensure that every family in Virginia's 2nd Congressional District has the opportunity to thrive. As a candidate for U.S. Congress representing Virginia's 2nd District, I believe that accessible, affordable, and comprehensive mental health care is a cornerstone of a resilient and equitable society. Mental health challenges affect millions of Americans, yet systemic barriers continue to limit access for underserved populations, military families, and middle-class households. It’s time to prioritize mental health care as a fundamental right and integrate it into our broader healthcare framework.

To address this pressing issue, I propose a comprehensive Loan Forgiveness for Service Program that incentivizes doctors and nurses to establish clinics or work in underserved areas. This initiative will not only improve healthcare access and equity but also foster economic growth and resilience in communities that need it the most.
